A bizarre story from Kenya caught my attention when a infant girl, abandoned by her mother, is rescued by an unlikely mom.
After being left for 2 days in the wilderness, a baby girl was picked up by a stray dog and brought to her litter. The mother dog found the baby wrapped in a plastic bag and without notice of their differences, freed her of the bag and carried her home to her litter.
She was found among the pups and taken to a local hospital. Thanks to her amazing rescue by an amazing dog, the public began donating clothing and supplies to the baby. Her mother may have been an awful person to abandon her that way, but her new mom is without a doubt man’s best friend.
