For the 5 AM post, the home stretch, I am going to give some credit where credit is past due.

Today I witnessed many many people pulling for the pets at Glendale Humane. Volunteers who don't just put in one day a year, but who show up every day to help care for animals, and who prepare them for their second chance.

They don't do it for money, or recognition. They certainly don't do it for the hygiene!

They do it because they believe helping a fellow living being is more important than sleeping in, or sitting comfortably on their couch watching daytime drama.

every day they are saving animals, the same animals who will go on to save someone else one day, in one way or another. This is how people save us every day as well.

To the staff and volunteers of Glendale Humane Society, what you do does not go unnoticed, but I take the most comfort in knowing you would continue to do the wonderful work you do even if it did...
